Tour de Spacey Television
Kevin Does Television

On the small screen, Kevin was still bigger than life. Some of the roles were small guest appearances, some were MFTV movies and some were series arcs. But, no matter what the part, Kevin was the best. How he remained somewhat unknown for so long is beyond me. It could only have been by desire.

The first was an episode of "The Equalizer" that, I hate to admit I have not seen. I have very little information on it but a great pic! If anyone would like to write a better synopsis, please let me know.

The second is my favorite. I first discovered Kevin here and have been hooked ever since. It has acquired cult status over the years and fans clamor for any chance to catch the re-runs. This is where Kevin revealed his "dark side" as a wealthy, powerful and dangerous "business man" in the "Wiseguy" series.

Detective Sergeant Gunther Cole
The Equalizer - 1987

Kevin was in the episode, Solo. He was Gunther Cole, a police officer from Pennsylvania who had come to NYC in search of a fugitive from justice.

Wiseguy - 1988

Mel Profitt. It'll be difficult for me to describe this character in this little block but I'll give it a try. Mel was very wealthy, very powerful and very fragile. Described as manic-depressive, he lived in the fast lane and called all the shots. He ran his "business" with his sister, Susan, played by Joan Severance. Together, they were a great team but without her, he literally could not function. There was always a hint of incest because they were so close. He depended on her for everything and she him. His mood swings would leave everyone around him devastated. He was evil, sexy and boyish all rolled into one timebomb ready to go off at the slightest hint of trouble. Now, I think I'll pop some popcorn, put in my "Wiseguy" tape and indulge myself in Kevin.
